It is quite exciting when a hobby starts making

This website started
as a guide to document the author's journey to learn how to make websites that
started making money just as a hobby - make enough money to support him.
That's right, my first websites were just a hobby, something I enjoyed doing
but really
wasn't very good at.
How did websites
become my primary source of income? After a 15-year career teaching
English in a variety of countries, I found myself working as a desk editor of a
newspaper in Thailand, for a very low wage - and I came to the realization one
day that my websites that month had earned MORE than my salary working at the
newspaper! What?
That wasn't a LOT of
money as wages are fairly low in Thailand, even for foreigners, but it doesn't
take a genius to realize that working for myself might be a better way to go.
That maybe if I took my websites more seriously, I could double or triple (or
more) my income - and maybe work a lot fewer hours (deadline days at the
newspaper were long long tiring days).
Join in on the
journey - it's not hard to learn how to do it. I am no geek or genius and
most things on the tech/geek side of websites still baffle me - but you really
don't have to know much of the technical stuff.
I'll walk you
through the process, step by step by step. You'll quickly realize that you
too, can do it.
