Banking and Transfers

Here's the good news: the Internet and international banking system have made such great advances in the last ten years or so, that even non-Western world affiliate programs can easily transfer your payments right into your bank, credit union, or even credit card accounts - with no extra charge to you!

You'll find it much easier than you might have thought to get yourself paid.  Do check and find out the "routing address" of your financial institution - and also get their "SWIFT" address.  Those two bits of information will allow you to get paid from almost anyone - from almost anywhere. 

This is all even easier than you might believe.  I get paid from an organization based in the EU - directly into my bank account in the USA.  Google pays directly into my bank account.  One commission organization I am working with sends me a check in US Dollars.  Okay, I just mail it to my bank and no problem.  Even the mail has not been a problem.

The point here is not to limit yourself to just USA or just UK or wherever-you-are-type programs.  This is a big world, quickly becoming a very small world.  There is no reason to not sell software in Buenos Aires, treadmills in Berlin, overseas jobs all over the world, or anything else.

This also means that you can base yourself ANYWHERE in the world.  I'm on a tropical island in Thailand.  You can be on a Caribbean island, in London, New Delhi, Kathmandu, Cancun - it's really is up to you.  Why limit yourself?  In the Internet/webmaster business - the world is your oyster.  Really!
