Income on the Internet: The Problem with Getting Started

operators are often very reluctant to share the secrets of their success.
At best, incomplete and vague answers are on offer. Many webmasters suspect
you will copy their website(s) and take their business away from
them.
No one wants you to copy their websites,
and this is what people are trying to avoid, But
you CAN'T really copy websites, or ideas - as they are all based on specific
personal knowledge and life experience. If you have had exactly the same
life someone has had then you could, but you haven't - so you can't.
It is EXACTLY your life
experience and interests that will lead you to success in developing web
sites - so your success will be based on what you know - not on what someone
else knows.
The other problem I ran into was
that productive and helpful website forums and discussion groups gradually
became "pay for use" and very expensive. I used to hang out on
www.WebmasterWorld.com, but the best
part of it became
a US$89 every three months subscription site. Many other discussion
websites were only thinly-veiled stages to sell you their e-book or other
products. Products will be suggested on this website - but that is not the
main purpose of the website. It is to help you meet some
income goals over the next several years.
